Wellbeing and Safeguarding

At Kingswood School, the wellbeing and safety of every child is our highest priority. We are committed to providing a warm, supportive environment where pupils feel secure, valued, and ready to thrive—both in and outside of school.

Our Commitment to Safeguarding

We are vigilant in our approach to safeguarding and child protection. All staff and regular visitors:

  • Undergo rigorous safeguarding and background checks
  • Receive ongoing training and regular updates throughout the year
  • Follow clear procedures to identify and respond to concerns swiftly

Our Child Protection and Safeguarding Policies are available on our website and are reviewed regularly to meet current guidance and best practice.

Working Together to Keep Children Safe

We work closely with the Solihull Local Safeguarding Children Partnership (LSCP) and have a direct link with the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). If we ever have concerns about a child’s safety or wellbeing, we may need to share information and work in partnership with external agencies. In most cases, we will discuss any concerns with parents or carers first—unless doing so would put the child at further risk.
