General Routine

Children are admitted when aged 3 years and attend until they are 4 years old. Sessions include a hot lunch and morning refreshments.

Nursery

Morning Session8:45am to 12:30pm
Afternoon Session11:45am to 3:30pm

Foundation Stage
8:45am to 3:30pm
Years 1 and 28:45am to 3:30pm
Years 3 and 48:45am to 3:45pm
Years 5 and 68:45am to 3:45pm

The main entrance is opened at 8:45am and children are met by their teachers and registered at 8:50am when the front door is locked. Assemblies and lessons commence at 9:00am.

Out-of-School Care

Before School8:00am to 8:45am
After School 3:30pm to 4:30pm
Extra Hours4:30pm to 5:30pm (Monday to Thursday)
Extra Hours4:30pm to 5:00pm (Friday)
  • Out-of-school care and Extra-curricular clubs are available to parents who make prior arrangements.
  • School finishes at 3:00pm on Fridays, and at 12pm on the last day of Spring and Summer term.
  • Refreshments are provided during the day. Confectionery and chewing gum are not permitted in school.
  • Lunchtime is an important part of the school day and all children are served hot lunches.
The "Kingswood Experience" is characterised by the intrinsic belief in the importance of moral and spiritual education as well as the personal and social development of each child based on Christian principles.
